In English, negative words are formed in different ways.

For e.g, Asynchronous, ANTIbiotics, IMmortal, UNbelievable, etc.

To understand why such different techniques exist in English, go through the following link which explains all those forms very clearly:
http://www.dailywritingtips.com/7-negative-prefixes/

Hope this helps in AWA.

Have a nice day 8-)

Feel free....for giving Kudos if this is useful
