Once I saw this game on a Sony Erricson mobile and got addicted to it. I searched the web for a jar version so that I can install it on my N73, too. Finally I found it and I think it works on majority of cell phones. check this:http://dc119.4shared.com/download/onp8q ... 4-590cb5d7
As the name implies, "brainjuice" tries to make your mind stronger especially in Quant abilities like arithmetic and calculations. You are provided with several games each building one part of your mind.
The goods: (bb's style
1- Two modes: practice mode and record mode. In practice mode you can play freely and in the record mode, you can play each game only once per day and your records for each day is kept for further reference. It gives you the sense of a real exam: first practice then take the exam
2- Mind profiling: after you play different kinds of games, Brainjuice gives you a pie chart of your brain power consisting of three slices: memory, Math, visual, with corresponding percentages. Your Math score mainly works in correlation with arithmetic games and really shows your speed with calculations. Memory shows your performance in games like "path memory". I think all three parts correlate with GMAT questions and are helpful. For example, games intended to strengthen your visual abilities help you understand the patterns in SC choices.
3- "Brain history" feature: see your progresses or recessions
4- "Best days": see when your mind is weak and when it is strong. Any correlation with sleeping, e.g.?
5- It's free
All in all, though you shouldn't expect specific-to-GMAT exercises from a general mobile game, I think it's worth trying since it's on your mobile and you can use it on your idle times like when on a bus. Even spending 2 minutes on it has definitely an effect on your mind while it just takes two minutes to open a GMAT book
. Of course, I haven't unlocked all games yet. It has a total of 12 games and I have only played 4 so far. So, possibly it may go deeper into math later. Who knows.
Hope you use and enjoy it
