1. The ratio of the area covered by one liter of paint A to the area covered by paint B is 4:3.

2. Paint A will require 40 liters of paint and 100 hours of labor.

i guess answer is E coz we know nothing about labour costs... they could be a fixed cost -say 100$ for painting the whole area- or variable -say 1$ per hour, or 1$ per inch painted or whatever-...
