24.A is given a phone list containing 200 different phone numbers
B is given the same phone list A and B are ask to call one phone
number at the same time. What is the probability that A and B call
the same number?

any # A calls, B has 1/200 chance of calling the same #.

Is it just 1/200?

thanks

Looks OK, for any number is possible to call.

My rationale: mark one number red in both lists. the probability of simultaneously calling this red number is 1/200*1/200. Any number from 200 can be marked red, so P=200*1/200*1/200=1/200
