@tirupatibalaji: Have you produced the correct version? I find several basic erros in your text. First thing Choice A is not the same as in the text. The text has no ‘was’ after ‘than’, while choice A has “was”. This is wrong. Please recheck the text and the choices.

Correct verb modifier (making...)
It is necessary a pronoun. (IT)
