"it" is required to compare "industry's economic health" to itself 5 years ago

I have C too.

I almost would say that this is an classic GMAT question and that this could be expected on the real test.

can someone please explain why making is better than and make?

should "boost" and make i think is parellel. i agree about comparison error in b but think making in C is wrong

help please

Correct answer is C

Now, B vs. C

In B, boost and make are coordinated- as if those are two different activity of equal importance. But most objectionable part in B is that here comparision is not complete. What the sentence is trying to mean by more robust than five years ago ?
