1 think I have been having trouble is to figure out the right strategy. According to this document, it seems like 1st step should be to jump right into the answer choices. Is that correct? I always read the full sentence 1st and them jump into answer choices. Can anybody please clarify?
Thanks for the help!

Hey guys

I'm rewriting my GMAT and want to really push my verbal score beyond 42. Would any of you know whether the SC1000 and CR1000 books are any good? Read about them on another post, where a candidate who got 770 recommended them. Anybody else have any comments?

I have found many errors in 1000SC and 1000CR documents. I have seen far many instructors tell us not to use these documents. Your best bet is to use official and trusted sources. Official Guides are the best. Then all GMAT prep questions. If you have time left, then for additional practice questions, you may think of Grockit.

That's my 2 cents!!!

A quick question guys - I am running out of material on SC. I am doing the OG 12 2nd time and my accuracy is OK. I am going to do the Verbal Review 2nd edition. Do you know whether there is any other SC material? Also, how accurate are the SC questions in OG as compared to the real thing? All comments are welcome.

Hi This stuff is amazing !!!!

I still have doubts about modifier issues and i want to get them straight.

These are the rules that you have mentioned for the modifiers .
i was wondering if you would be so kind as to illustrate the four rules below with an example each.
Pleas please !!!! :) :) :)

MISPLACED MODIFIERS These are modifiers that are placed in the wrong part of the sentence.
1. If an adjective is the modifier, it must be placed right NEXT to the noun it modifies.
2. If an adjective modifies a noun idea, it can modify either of the two nouns, but it must be placed next to it as well.
3. If the modifier is a participial phrase, and is not set off by a comma, it should be closest to the noun described. If there is a comma, it can be anywhere.
4. If a sentence begins with a participial phrase, the first word after the phrase should be what the phrase is describing.
