A movie theater sells two types of tickets: adult tickets at $6 each and childrenâ€™s tickets at$4 each. If the theater sold 200 tickets on a given day, how many adult tickets were sold?

(1) The number of childrenâ€™s tickets sold was 40 more than 3 times the number of adult tickets sold.
(2) The theater earned $400 more on the sale of childrenâ€™s tickets than it did on the sale of adult tickets.
