A new hair-growing drug is being sold for three times the price, per milligram, as the drug’s maker charges for another product with the same active ingredient.
A. as
B. than
C. that
D. of what
E. at which

this is kind of controversial.
D for me, quite a few choose A

Should be D [#permalink] New post 26 Aug 2005, 11:09
This should be D. I guess A changes the meaning of the sentense.

One more vote for D coz of what refers to the price, meanwhile A changes the original meaning. If we use as, it should be rewritten as: as much as what.

Anyway, plz explain OA?

The problem , i see with "that" is that could have sounded better had the author used 'than' some where in the statement.
Not sure if my reasoning is correct.
