9. A new wing is to be added to a certain hospital, creating 50 additional beds. What will be the new ratio of doctors to beds if no new doctors are hired?
(1) The ratio of doctors to beds is currently 1 to 20
(2) There are currently 19 doctors employed by the hospital

I see this problem as a proportion problem. Would like a clarification on how this can be solved faster.

Vote for C
(1)Insuff its impossible to find the ratio if don't know the quantity of doctors or beds (know one can find another one)
For example D/B=1/20 D/B+50=D/20D+50 ???no information from here
(2)Insuff the same

But both suff 19 Doctors => 380 Beds
the new ratio 19/430
