Won't it be (2,5) as it is reflected on the x-axis.

Answer is : (-2,-5)

Initial point was in 2nd quadrant(-2,5), its reflexion with origin, take it to 4th quadrant (2,-5)

And so, reflexion of orignal point (-2,5) to x-axis will be in 3rd quadrant i.e. (-2,-5)

Geethu, u r talking about reflexion around Y-axis, i suppose

Hope, this helps,
