My target school does not have a standard template for a resume .. and when I asked some alumni and accepted candidates I found that some of them submitted a detailed 2 - page curriculum vitae and others submitted the famous one-page resume . Is there anything wrong if I submit both ?

Also , I am fond of playing cross words and Sudoku .. can I mention this in the interests and hobbies or it will look very informal ?

Our basic philosophy on submitting documents is that they are read -- so do not submit both your CV and your resume. Additionally, we believe in submitting "high-yield" documents -- so this means that the one page resume is much preferred. As for your sudoku hobby, I do not see where this adds much to your candidacy, so I would recommend that you leave it out - especially since with a one page resume, every word counts.

Good luck.
