Answer should be (B) 15 litres

This problem took me some time, actually unreasonable amount of time if I had been sitting for the actual GMAT

What took me a while to realize that the adulterated content remains the same, the unadulterated content has to increase so that ratio decreases,

So, if we take the amount to be added as X to increase the level of purity to 95% then the total amount of bacardi should be (15+X)

After adding X, the level should decrease to 5%, which means that

5/100 * (15 + X) = 1.5

Which gives the amount of Bacardi to be added to 15 litres

My logic could be flawed here, but I think (B) should be the answer

This one had me a little confused at first also.
But this is how I cracked it:
.10 is impure, so .90(15) is pure Bacardi. ie 13.5 litres.
Let x equal amount of pure Baca to be added.

(13.5 + x)/(15 + x) = 95/100
1425 + 95x = 1350 + 100x
75 = 5x
15 = x

Got B . Did it a different way and took 20 secs

15 litres has 10% adulterated and so even after u add bacardi, the quantity of adulterated remains the same. so 15*10% = (15+x)*5%

150=75+5x, x=15 litres
