E for me.
We need 'associate' here and also E is more concise and clear.

Agree with E for parallellism with "associate". Moreover, verb tense differences in C is clumsy.

(E) uses the simple present tense to state the results of a study which are deemed to be common knowledge. Additionally, it is the only parallel choice.
