A study of children of divorced parents found that ten years after the parent's divorce, children who had been under six years of age at the time of the settlement were not preoccupied, nor even very curious, about the reasons that led to their parents' divorces.
(B) not preoccupied with, or even very curious about, the reasons for their parents' divorce
(C) neither preoccupied, nor even very curious, with the reasons that let to their parents' divorce
(D) neither preoccupied with the reasons that led to their parents' divorce or even very curious about them
(E) neither preoccupied with the reasons that their parents divorced nor even very curious about it

C is wrong since because of "let".
E is the answer.

Emmanuel, C is not wrong because of "let".....that is a Typo.......C is wrong because "with the parents"appears in the wrong place........
E should be the correct answer.........

Neither + nor is the usage. Look at D again and I hope you have not made a typo.
The problem with E is this. What should the children be curious about? Divorce or the reasons for the divorce. By using "it" at the end it makes it refer to divorce. IMO it is incorrect. The divorce has already happenend.
Also big big problem with E is that parents did not divroce the reasons but divorced each other.
C is wrong because the children cannot be curious with the reasons
