Ignoring the many spelling mistakes ( :D ) , I think the correct Option is "D".

The 2/3 split of options gives us A,B & C which start with "A Sumatram Rhino.." - Looking at the non-underlined sentence, we can see that the "it" is referring to the "birth event" and not to the rhino, so A, B & C are ruled out.

Among Options D & E - Option E has too many commas and makes it awkward while Option D (again, ignoring the spelling mistakes) is a very crisp sentence that keeps the focus of the "landmark event" on the birth :)

Hope it helps!

Meaning - Rhinoceros was born in zoo . Since the birth took place after long time , the birth is a land mark development (The birth shows that yes some one is putting efforts to save endangered species ).

A) the first birth in captivity of that species in more than a century : Noun modifier but what is it modifying ? Cincinnati zoo . Even if I see as a clause modifier , R was born - the first birth .. not going well . Also pronoun IT does not have clear antecedent.
B) Again pronoun IT . A Sumatran rhinoceros is a land mark development , The first birth is land mark development .. not making sense.
C) A Sumatran rhinoceros is the recent development - No
D) Yes The Recent birth is a land mark development . Makes sense . But I was not very happy to see " the first birth in captivity for that species in over a century" modifying The recent birth .. though far but still ok.
E) As the first birth .. The recent birth .. Not ok
