Is the wording right? The way I see it, total no. of trucks = n. 2/3rds are pick ups, so no of pickups = 2n/3

Do you mean 2/3 of the cars are pick-ups?
In that case, the answer is A =n/6
Else isnt the answer is 2n/3 ?

IF the question is worded correctly (which I don't think is), answer has to be (2/3)N. Easiest Ps I every solved! LOL

D, as most of you have already deduced
t+c=n
t+1/4t=n
t=4/5n
p=2t/3
=2*4n/3*5
= 8n/15

D.
Attacked this one by plugging in numbers. Chose 60 for trucks, which yields 15 cars and 75 total cars & trucks (n), and 40 pickups. Divide 40/75, reduces to 8/15.
