P of first component not deffective = 88/100 = 22/25
P of second component not defective = 96/100 = 24/25
P of not defective = 22/25 * 24 /25

P that toy is defective = 1 - 22/25 * 24/25 = 0.15

I guess E is the answer.

.15 is in fact the correct answer; however, their are computational errors in you reasoning.

I realized that my computation has mistakes. it should be 89/100 instead of 88/100
