a correction:

= (270/360) 2 pi (24)
= 36 pi

i should take a break for at least a week.....

2*pi*24*3/4=36*pi

Diameter = pi * 24* 2 = 48pi

This is equivalent to 360 degress rotation.

So 270 degrees will give you 270/360 * 48pi = 36pi

circumference - 2piR = 48pi
therefore the wheel moves 48pi in 360 deg
Hence it will move 270/360 * 48pi = 36 pi in 270 deg

For 1 rotation ie. 360 degrees, the wheel moves 2*pi*r .
For 270 degrees it moves (270*48*pi)/360 = 36 pi
