Rani: But you must be able to hear it; otherwise you couldnt know that it was ringing.
Rani's response shows that she presupposes that
A. the telephone doesnt ring when Aamir is in the shower
B. Aamir's callers never telephone except when he is in the shower
C. Wrong!
D. Aamir cannot tell that the telephone has rung unless he actually heard it
