is there a more GMAT like solution? because i don't get the reason to remember sin54! :(

I don't think GMAT will ever ask a question that will require you to remember the value of sin54. So be happy :)

Golden Ratio \(= \frac{1 + \sqrt{5}}{2}\)

Length of diagonal of regular pentagon = 8 * Golden Ratio

\(= 4 (1 + \sqrt{5})\)

Answer = C

I really doubt if "Golden Ratio" concept is tested in GMAT?

Bunuel, any inputs please...

Not a GMAT question. You can ignore it.
