For those of you who did ther under-grad in India or anywhere else other than America, What do you guys include as academic honors in the applications.

Does clearing the IIT JEE, or a research publication count??

I dont know about IIT JEE , but the publication doesn't count. Academic Honors means, in US terms, awards bestowed upon you for, generally, extraordinary academic performance - measured exclusively by grades.

I was wondering about this - would graduating first class with distinction count? I was not going to add this.

Its like graduating magna cum laude/ summa cum laude, it's the highest awarded, although it's for anyone with 70% and above.

Thanks

Hmm....even I graduated with an 'FCD', but I didn't put it in anywhere. Should I have?
