excuse me, I know the OA is C,
but could you tell me why choice D and choice E are wrong ?

C is concise..

Look at the sentence..

failure to advertise.....So, its urging us to ask 'failure to advertise' what. now, we need an answer that says 'the highest price' or something to the effect. In d or e we have 'as prominently the hgihest price'. why 'as prominently'. mking d and e wordy and awkward.
