we are comparing two causes....so the idiom as much as has to be used. So eleminating A, C, D and E. Only option left for me is B but that also seems incorrect. OA plz.

A is perfect. so x that y is the idiom. That kills B, C, D and E. Kinda simple.
C,D and E - use the placeholder "it" which is wordy. But 3:2 split leaves A,B in one group and C,D and E in other group. So A was straight !
