B looks to beat A only because the right idiom is 'model after...'

I'm with "model after",
And between B and D,
I pick B.

I choose (B). "Modeled after" is correct. Statues are "Modeled" not "Made"

I choose B,

Is it correct to say mother's? Do we know that the possessive (mother's) refers to her face?...

Well A looks fine, but I would have chosen B for modelled after.

Mmm...I choose A even though "model...after" in B sounds good.
"after that of" shows up twice in B and it is wordy.
