I think the correct idiom is it is "model after" ...So I would pick A...

Agree with your point that idiom is modeled after. if so, then it should be B. right? :wink:

I strongly vote for A.

B - one doesn't model something after something, one only models something based on something.( although named someone after someone is fine)
