C, D, E are out.
C seems to indicate that the same babies were born to the females who were above the age of 30.
A it is.
I think B has a different meaning.
More babies were born to women over the age of thirty than born under it (the age of thirty)

where is this question taken from? A seem like the only one that works although i can go with C as well. any official explanation?
