C we are mentioning equal emphasis on highest and lowest price. ~Correct use of as ... as.
Is there any trap?

IMO, its a matter of S-V Agreement. and there is nothing to do with llism.

subject is: "failure to advertise the highest price in a range of prices for a service or product as prominently as the lowest", which is singular.

verb is: "violets"
