(C) and atmospheric water vapor which has produced highly corrosive sulfuric and nitric acids
(D) and atmospheric water vapor which have produced sulfuric and nitric acids which are highly corrosive
(E) and atmospheric water vapor to produce highly corrosive sulfuric and nitric acids

I will go with E because:

The question stem uses idiom Between A and B with C. The correct idiom, here, would be "between A and B and C" (guess it should be among A, B and C but since "between" is not underlined its supposed to be correct).

B. Incorrect. Same error as underlined portion of question sentence(betweek A and B with C)

C. "which has produced" is wrong here. remember the rule (see SC tips sticky post in this forum):
this, which, that, and other pronouns MUST replace nouns, not sentences.

D. same as C

E. Corrects idiom without introducing new error.

correct idiom here is between X and Y..
Here X - industrial emissions....
and Y - atmospheric water vapor ...

I will go with E
