@gmatpunjabi,
though passive is not always wrong but certainly it is not the preferred option . moreover, in a sentence if every thing else is ok and parallel, consider making active parallel with active rather than passive.

You're absolutely right that active voice is generally more concise and clear than passive voice. The active voice often provides a more direct and straightforward way of expressing an action and identifying the doer of the action. In your example, the active voice clearly states "I kissed that top model," while the passive voice leaves the doer of the action ambiguous.
