I doing some verbal quizzes and some of them asking questions about "this sentence" or "this paragraph" without any high light.

Thank you. We will correct the highlighting of the text in the new tests.

I also receive a repeating question.
In addition, how long will the free test last? I saw a message that I have unlimited access till June 10. Is that just for reviewing the test or doing the test?

Is the CAT actually close to the real GMAT? How close is it? I did a verbal test and score 39/41 O_O??? Never before have I scored that much. Why do the questions seem too obvious? I felt they are 500-600 levels. I took another verbal test in exhausted condition and still scored 35/41! I think GMATClub should modify the algorithm to make it more difficult to closely simulate the real exam.
Some bugs I discovered (I'm sure others have reported already) - 12 CRs in a row, 14 RCs in a row, 15 SCs in a row. They should be mixed as in the real exam. - RC: questions belonging to a particular reading passage are not next to each other. Instead, they are randomly distributed in the whole RC set (still in the 14 consecutive RCs). Use a set or an array or something to link them together to make a chain of questions of the same passage. - Repeated questions. - The test requires users to re-login during the test. After re-logging in, user can resume the test, but this is very annoying and can affect the performance. Not to mention the redirect URL after logging points users to the main forum, not to the test page. Please make the user's session longer. - View result: please do not show correct answer by default. Instead, only show the user's answer, and provide an option for the user to show the correct answer. Same for question explanation. - Wrong score calculation: Why is it I scored 35/41 and have a score of 2%?
That's it for now. Will report more bugs when I do more tests. Overall, great contents and workable new software. Thanks for the courtesy!

Re: Adaptive GMAT Club Tests are Here! [#permalink]

Hi everyone! I'm new here. I just joined tonight as I was searching for CAT exams to practice. A number of people have asked what will happen after the exams are no longer free, and that question hasn't been answered yet.... So, how much will they cost after the 10th/11th? How many CAT exams will be available (without repeating questions)? I've used up my 6 Manhattan practice exams, so am looking for other challenging CAT exams. I thought the GMAT exam I took recently (2nd attempt) would be my last, but I messed up my time management BADLY. I was doing well crunching through every question on the math section and excited that I knew how to do them all, was OK for time halfway through, then forgot to be vigilant and allowed myself to get sucked into a couple of black hole questions. Before I knew it, I was on question #28 with only 4 min left, ack! I was on #32 of 37 when it timed out on me. I was lucky to end up with a 690 anyway, but was very frustrated because that's the same score I got the first time. The second time I expected mid 700s as I was far more prepared academically, if it weren't for my time management error. So I've decided I need to do as many practice CAT exams as possible to practice my time management. Info about how much the GMAT Club CAT exams will cost after the free trial, plus advice about other CAT exams or time management strategies would be great, thanks! PS - I can't access the two free CAT exams from GMAC because the software is not compatible with Mac computers.

@BB Thanks for providing adaptive tests Apart from all those listed, there is one more bug. When we press 'Flag for Review' for one question, all the questions in that test get flagged. ------- jai

Hey @bb, The new layout is absolutely amazing. The new tests are awesome also. Quick question, I seem to remember some of the questions in the tests as the ones I marked in the forums. Are most of the questions from the gmatclub forums or some are only found in the tests?

Excellent Quant questions. Thanks for the free trial. But I was wondering if it might be too expensive to buy later. Some features are down, albeit very minor ones. But they are quite annoying. x and z fonts look almost the same. So i have to remind myself to distinct between them. Question number 1 seem to be shown as question number 11 when i review them.

Hi Guys,
The new CAT tests look great. I just took the Verbal test and i have a doubt regarding it. My score says V7 and there is no percentage along with it. I got 31/41. how much would it be on a scaled score ?
Test, 41 verbal questions V7 Completed 38 min 46 sec June 11th, 05:14 AM

Hi BB, It's still June 11th but I could not access to the test anymore. So, there is a cut off time I was not aware off? But thanks for the free trial anyway.

Sure, we can. We will extend them one more another day. Just opened them back up. On a side note, I just finished importing all the questions and checked every single of 1,400 of them. I have a handful where formulas are too small to finish but otherwise, they should all be free of code or distracting formatting symbols.

the score interpretation is still at minimum.how are we supposed to interpret the score column.... @bb you can add one more feature of giving sectionwise percentage in each section because after the test only question wise details are displayed.apart from that if one can get a percentile n score that can help interpret ..because question wise details is still not enough to interpret regards, mudit
