1) Brief description of your full-time work experience. What do you do?
Graduated from undergrad in 2011.
Worked at a bulge bracket investment bank for 2 years before transitioning to business development for one of the largest talent agencies for the half year (think CAA, WME, UTA, ICM size).

2) Your GMAT.
Haven't yet taken actual exam, still studying. Just took my initial practice test - 650. Definitely need to brush up on the quantitative side; verbal is at or near top as I previously took the LSAT (175+) in undergrad. Perhaps need some guidance on whether to take the GRE vs GMAT as well, as I took a practice GRE recently as well and scored much higher (converted to a 700 using their conversion on the GRE website)

3) College info: UC Berkeley, 3.6/4.0, Business Major - Graduated 2011.

4) Significant college and post-college extra-curricular activities or community service, especially leadership experience.
Resident Assistant in College
Variety of community service organizations since, including an area Community Service organization that is involved in helping underprivileged children through dodgeball and community service events

5) Important certifications like CFA, CPA, FSA, or CA.
N/A

6) Your target programs.
Top 10; preferably on either Coast

7) When you plan to apply? Please specify round and application cycle, for example R1 2013-14 or R3 2012-13.
R1 2013-2014

8) Your post-MBA goal.
Would like to pivot career a bit - currently meet with quite a few venture / growth stage companies for our investment fund that focuses on media/tech startups, but would like to work as a primary investor.

9) Additional Info
N/A

Thanks for the time and help!

Hi

It would be tough to provide any meaningful advise until you share your GMAT score.

Good luck and Kudos.

1. Age and Work Experience: Seems in line
2. Acads: School is very good, GPA is decent.
3. GMAT score: 720 is decent.

I would give you a 60%+ plus chance to get into one of the Top 10 schools and a 90%+ chance to get into one of the Top 20 schools.

Good luck and Kudos.

With my background, would schools be okay if I took the GRE instead?

For an MBA, most schools require you to take a GMAT. GRE is not an option.
