Hi all,
I'm very excited to advise that I've been admitted to Columbia Business School! The issue is that they are asking for a deposit by 2/16; but I haven't heard from other schools yet. I really wanted to also know what Stanford or Harvard would say.
How do I handle this situation? Do I suck it up and pay the deposit, knowing I could loose it, and just wait and see what happens? I want to make sure I'm also acting as ethically as possible. I'm just very surprised to have received a decision so quickly and did not expect to be in this situation.
Thank you for the help in advance!
Congrats dude!
Well, it's good things either way! If it's a matter of days, then you can ask for a slight extension to pay the deposit. But otherwise, they'll probably just want that deposit, and you might have to just take that risk of losing it.
(but in the long run, it's well worth it... so consider it a solid investment)
Best,
Jon
