Have you guys received your Johnson binder yet? I drove home for lunch today just to pick up my welcome package and checked it out for 5 minutes before going back to work. I'm going to be drooling on it this weekend.

Who is going to bring their car to Ithaca?

http://www.egsa.cornell.edu/hbweb/node133.html

I have a nice car and don't want it getting trashed but I would also like to be able to get around easily.

I'm selling my car...it's a nice one and don't want to trash it, don't think i need it, and don't want to take the 2-year depreciation (and storage cost) of leaving it in California...

Just wanted to share what I heard at the interview:
Car=great to have, especially for groceries
Can you get around without a car? Yes.
Is your life a lot easier with a car? Yes.

Btw, there is no direct bus route between Ithaca & Boston, so if you are going toward that direction, you have to drive or fly.

I think it is totally appropriate if she is moving to Ithaca with you. There is a whole "partners" schedule at DJ.

I don't have a car or a g/f so I guess I don't have to worry about a thing :)
Did you start looking into apartments or are you holding off on that until DJ?

Did you guys join the Facebook group ( Johnson School Class of 2011 + Johnson School AMBA Class of 2010 ) ? The group seems to be somewhat quiet though :?

Hey Raabend congrats on getting off that WL...good to have you here, buddy!

My wife and I are going on that housing tour during DJ. After we get a feel for the options, we will probably come back to Ithaca for a weekend in early May and make appointments to tour individual places and hopefully fill out applications.
