What happened in 2007-2008 with the GMAT scores? Seems like all of a sudden the school made a big swing and drastically reduced the number of <650 people and increased the >740 people.

Not really surprising the international % went down a bit this year, with all the concerns out there about financing and/or recruiting of internationals in the US.

The age range on the profile/link seems off. They have it as 25-31, and I'm not 25 yet. Maybe they mean age at graduation?

cheers.

You failed to read the actual pdf or my response to domtri asking the same thing...that is the middle 80%.

How important is Tech Check?

Something important has come up and I think I will only be able to get to Evanston 21st evening and 22nd we leave for KWEST.

Can I get everything configured after we get back from KWEST or can I just do it myself?

Email KIS and see if you can get the instruction packet and discs separately. Its definitely something you can do yourself if you have the materials.

I didn't go to tech check and was able to set up everything myself using this website: https://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/KIS/

You can stop by later to pick up your copy of Office 07.

So is everyone eligible for a copy of Office 07 or just those who ordered their laptops through KLP? I was just going to order a Student version of Office Ultimate from Microsofts website.

Thats good to know...thanks river!

On another note, who all on here are attending the Kellogg Eleven Kickoff Party at Nevins this Saturday? We should try and do our own GMATClub get together before everyone leaves for KWEST or I suppose we could do one during/after CIM as well....river and steel will probably be back on campus too by that time.

I'll be back in Evanston the night of the 19th and will likely be joining in the Pete Millers, Nevins, Bar Louie, Keg circuit.

Random question, mostly for Steel and River. I was looking through the CIM FAQs and saw that tuxedos are suggested for the CIM Ball.....I don't own a tux. My questions is this.....how many opportunities will a student have to wear a tuxedo while at Kellogg. If there is ample occasion to get dressed up like a penguin then I have no problem going out and buying a tux. However, if its like a one time a year deal, then I think I would probably rather wait. Thoughts?

Lets see:

CIM Ball
Charity Auction Ball
Casino Night

All are suit friendly though.

I think less than 1/3rd of men wear a tux. Most wear a dark colored suit but hell you will see people dressed like complete idiots in costumes for some events that are supposed to be formal. No one will judge you, if they do it will probably be the one person in the class everyone thinks is a jackass.
