I have been using the OG along with the kaplan verbal book as well as the Nova Prep book for math.

I was wondering if anyone thinks this is a good combination.

The OG is definitely a good tool. I can tell you about the Kaplan verbal or Nova Prep books but I used MANY different books. From my own experience, I can advise you to use OG/Kaplan800/Kaplan 2004 with the 4 CAT tests and PrincetonReview with the CD also. I also used Barron(with cd)/Arco/Peterson and although they were useful in expanding my thinking on certain types of problems, I would not buy them again if I had to study that all over again.

Use PR for verbal instead...they are much better on GMAT verbal. Either Cracking the GMAT or their Verbal Workout book will do fine, but the Cracking book has 5 practice tests if you get the one with the CD, so I would get that one.
