Advice Needed

This is the situation... I have a law degree, which I finished at the age of 27 years old. I am considering spending 2 years working in a law firm in Houston, Dallas, or Austin. If I were to do so, I could gain residency in Texas and pay in-state tuition. But, this would push my application age to 29, just above the average. Although I could work just one year and enter at 28, and graduate at 30. I want to go to McCombs School of Business at UT-Austin. So, here are my questions:
1. Will the fact that I would be 29 years of age lower my chances at all of being admitted to UT-Austin? What age would be the best for my chances, if any at all (27, 28, or 29)?
2. Will these extra 2 years of work experience, added to the already 4 full-time years that I have accumulated, significantly help my chances? What about if I were to work just 1 year in "big law"? Or, if the older age would hurt me (Question 1), would this outweigh that negative?
3. Would work in "big law" look good in an application to B-School, or would it just kind of be a no-factor?
4. Lastly, would the fact that I would be 31 at graduation, instead of 29, hurt me in my employment prospects?
Basically, I am trying to figure out if I want to practice law for a year or two, before going to B-School. I would kind of like to, but I want to end up in business. I am mostly divided on whether to work in law for 1 or 2 years. Would the extra year of age hurt me at all or am I just a little paranoid?
