'C' for llism.

After the Vietnam war Bettye Granther, a U.S. Army nurse, continued her efforts on behalf of injured Vietnamese children, providing medical care, helping to reunite estranged families, and establishing a fund for the children’s future education.

P.S. 'D' is wrong because of childrens’

singular - child, plural - children
correct possessive pronoun will be children's, NOT childrens'.
But e.g. flowers' is correct.
