Thank you for using the timer!
We noticed you are actually not timing your practice. Click the START button first next time you use the timer.
There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:
Does age effect your application status. If you are above 30 yo,does it matter a lot while applying, and, even if you manage to get into some school then do the recruiter see you as overage for junior management level position.
Does anybodyu have any insight on it.
Thanks in advance
I believe that if you are in your mid 30s, you will be expected to bring more to the table than someone who is 6-8 years younger. If you are competing for entry level positions then I think you will be at a disadvantage. By this point you should have accumulated additional work experience that should distinguish you from younger candidates.
I guess I have the same worry too, even though I just hit 30. I have a lot to bring to the table in terms of my technical work as an engineer, but I'm not sure how that translates into business when I get into and out of B-school. That's why I want to stick with tech and entrepreneurship, so the age factor isn't as big of a problem.
I see most of the profiles of current MBA students as career switcher..I argue that even if you have 10 years experience in technical field, but you will be a novice in finance field...so how does this correlate to getting a position in finance after having experience in marketing for example....
