I thnk there is some typo......anyway the only answer that makes sense is C, inthat, the pronoun "those" matches in the number with its plural antecedent "variations".....all the other choices contain "that"

Yes You are correct . I am not sure how that unrelated stmts popped up. Sorry abt that.

The main issue is 'those' matching the number .
