Section 5.4 Test taking strategies for Sentence correction questions.

4. Try to determine how to correct what you consider to be wrong with the original sentence.

If you find this even remotely ironical and funny then you indeed have come in a long way in your verbal prep.

Lets forgive them :)
There are a lot of differences between real world grammar vis-a-vis gmat grammar anyways...Here they themselves are acknowledging it.

you are correct

"consider X Y" is the idiom

good luck for monday, i am taking it for a second time on monday too!
