My eye immediately fixates on (E)

1. correct modifier
2. active voice

D for me...

In E, we cant say what "that" is referring to ...home or festivals.

D - for me 2

A- don't quite know why this is wrong - "they" seems suspicious but do not see more than one plural antecedent... Perhaps someone can help !!! :?:

B - changes meaning .. and the which clause implies the home featured the food, clothing etc. But the original sentences was trying to convey that the festival featured the food, clothing etc..

C - implies that Aho was a matriach only in her home

D - looks good

E - implies that the home featured the food, clothes etc .. which is incorrect
