D is correct. In E it seems as if her home featured the preparation of great quantities ...........................traditional tribal jokes and stories.

In Option D, both the phrases "in her home" and "a kiowa matriarch"modify "AHO".

Also in option E, the pronoun "her" lacks clarity as to which noun is it referring to .....aho/kiowa

Hence D is correct.

Totally agree that featured should be adjacent to noun festivals.
