Hi All,

Need an urgent advice from all you members. I have got a 710(Q51 V35) and I am targetting top 10 business schools. Pls advice me, should I retake GMAT (would be targetting 740-760 or so in my retake) or focus more on my application and on the first deadline. Details of my profile are there in my earlier post

I need to decide fast, pls help.

Thanks.

bonfanatic,

If you can get a 740-760 without diverting time from working on your app, then by all means take the GMAT again, but if the rest of your app is strong enough (your extracurric's seemed less impressive than your professional) the 710 is good enough to get in. You don't want to divert time from making your essays as strong as possible (many leadership/impact stories, highly personal, knowledge of school and evidence that you've tried to build a network at your target schools).

Good luck,
