because either X or Y either this happens or that happens , in B either is followed by 3 phrases as opposed to just 2

Amazing Explanation E-gmat but even in E, we have 3 things  .. whereas you mentioned that either .. or.. must have only 2 things . E looks like either X,Y or Y.. Or is it that Y is modifying X? Please help. Regards, Sach

Regards, Sach Hi Sachin, Well choice E reads: to find and attack prey, to defend themselves, or to communicate and navigate. This choice does not have "either". In this choice, the three entities are joined by "or". Hope this helps.  Thanks. Shraddha
