I have a low GPA from a top 5 institute in India. How can I overcome the GPA to stand a good chance for a top B school admission?
Will doing courses from Harvard Extension School help my chances?
I am aware that I belong to an extremely competitive application pool. My strengths in the application is great extracurriculars and good recommendations. HES is a big investment for me. Is it worth it? Will the adcom look past the low GPA provided I can get good alternative transcripts from HES and a strong GMAT score?
Extra quantitative courses will help, although it doesn't have to be at Harvard, if you want to save some money.
But, a high GMAT score will help more. While not the end-all/be-all, the GMAT is still important.
