in reality these
in the non-underlined clause points to coyotes not films as in other options

C is the best choice. It's the only one that allows the modifying phrase (non-underlined part) to modify the correct term

I agree with C, but A was a darn good trap answer. Most modifiers place the noun being modified as close as possible to the comma, but that clearly isn`t the case here.

the two phrases must have the same main subject that is "coyotes" . Depicted+ as is more idiomatic than depicted to be. Thus C is correct.

i don' t see how it can be anything but C.

But OA is A.
