not each, but all, because BROADCAST.

B is wordy.

C is the answer.

what is the answer here. isn't it E.

yes, it is E.

If we choose E then we have ...

... superficial, as when the three major networks each broadcast exactly the same statement from a political candidate.

Is this correct? shouldn't "broadcasts" follow "each"?
Or may be Im missing something .. please help ...

Srijay,

Each Network broadcasts the news at 5.00 pm everyday.

CNN, ABC and FOX each broadcast the news at 5.00 pm everyday.

Each acts as an adjective here , one case modifying a singular noun and the other modifying a plural noun phrase. The verb has to agree with the subject and hence you have broadcasts/broadcast.

Your "sigular" follows "each" rule applies only when each is behaving as a pronoun as in

The tigers are housed at the zoo. Each of them is fed 200 pounds of raw red meat a day.
