A is wrong because it uses singular subject 'each of three networks' followed by plural verb (broadcast)

B wordy and awkward
C not right ... all versus all

D has the same issue as A

E is correct ('three major networks each' is plural and sounds right)

IMO E.

IMO E. (It is E since "broadcast" (verb indicates plural) and so "each" cannot be before the subject, if "each" is before the subject then verb must be singular. But whenever each follows subject then verb (broadcast) will be based on the subject (networks - plural).

Could you please provide more information (examples) about the "as when" idiom?

I put this answer aside as I thought it was not a good construction
Many thanks
