I guess which refers to hearings.....

can anyone clarify ?

I agree with Jerry, and IMO, which does refer to hearings on impeachement. So B is the best one here

in D, "then also later" sounds bit awkward.

I guess which refers to hearings.....

can anyone clarify ?


which clearly refers to whole phrase , if you see the word followed which - it is were ; Richard Nixon cannot use a plural tense !
Therefore, "which" refers to the hearings in both B and C .
